LA BOUND!
There is a new horror project on the horizon (still without a title).
Currently in pre-production, the first shooting is scheduled to take place
during the first week of April on a six-day shoot in Hawaii.
On the way I will be making a four-day stop in Los Angeles
where I will be visiting Lisa Callahan,
Justin Lillge, and hopefully a number of other friends
from the famed Hollywood Café. I'll be in town
March 30 - April 2. For the rest of the first week of April I will team
up with location scout Chris Pry,
and we'll get to work. Those interested in meeting up with me in LA, please
get a hold of me ASAP at scott@slimpictures.com.
"OFFICE PARTY"
There are events such as the Oscars, Emmys, Grammys, Golden Globes,
ShoWest Awards, and the premiere of "The Sopranos."
Still looking for something to fill that void left by the CableACE
Awards? Well, March 24th is the date of the First Annual Slim
Pictures Office Party! This party will sum up how Slim Pictures
got to where it is now and will culminate with the premiere of a number
of new Slim Pictures productions and the first production released by
Angoraland Productions directed by John
Champion! This event is invitation only, but if someone
is unavailable that spot will be up for grabs. To get on the mailing list,
again contact me at scott@slimpictures.com.
ODDS AND ENDS
PEOPLE TECHNOLOGY - For various clients I recently had
to enlist in the help of JP Maurer
and People Technology for the sake of completing some
of the most difficult client projects to date.
NICE GUYS FINISH LAST - Every free
moment has been spent working on this latest script. To say everything
and nothing about the script at the same time; Kevin
Smith would be proud.
COLUMBIA COLLEGE - On my first
day of class I started editing on an AVID (the most advanced
editing system in existence). Without question, I am enjoying myself to
a great extent. To find out a little more check out slimpictures.com/columbia.htm
DOT COM - Just today I updated
the web site with an additional dozen pages and over 30 pictures (including
Slim Pictures producer Mary Czerwinski
with Adam Sandler at the
Chicago premiere of "Little Nicky").
