June 1, 2008 - The Mothership Connection AM-1050 WLIP Dobie Maxwell and Stu James interviews Scott Markus. Topics include Resurrection Mary, the Willowbrook Ballroom, Resurrection Cemetery, The Eastland Disaster, The Great Chicago Fire and the Chicago Water Tower, Bachelor's Grove Cemetery, The Chicago Cubs and the Lincoln Park Totem Pole, Cuba Road, the Gold Pyramid House, the Woodstock Operahouse, the Gate in Libertyville, the House on Rainbow Road, Archer Avenue, St. James at SAG Bridge Church & Cemetery, the Sunnybrook Asylum, Dominican University. There's also general info like how to see a ghost and what is a ghost, dowsing and divining rods and even ghost movies like "Ghostbusters," "The Sixth Sense" and "Stir of Echoes." Corrections: The Eastland capsized in 1915. |
|
October 31, 2007 - Tom & Lisa Morning Show 95 WIIL ROCK, part 1 Scott Markus and Bob Jensen take calls from the public ("Ask a Ghostbuster" segment). Topics include Gettysburg, Resurrection Mary, the Excalibur Night Club, White Cemetery & Cuba Road, Mount Carmel Cemetery & Julia Buccola. Corrections: The Resurrection Mary bending the gates story is a bit off, you can find the real story anywhere. |
|
October 31, 2007 - Tom & Lisa Morning Show 95 WIIL ROCK, part 2 Starts with finishing the Julia Buccola Story (some of it is missing) and the Ghost of Al Capone. The Gate in Libertyville, urban legends, the ghost of JFK, the Stickney House, the Museum of Science & Industry & Robinson Woods Corrections: The whole Stickney house having one corner is an urban legend - untrue. Also, I said tom-tom being thrown when I meant to say Tomahawk being thrown. |

September 19, 2007 - X-Zone Radio Interview, part 1 hosted by Rob McConnell interview with Scott Markus. The questions range from very general philosophy and theory to talking about Ursula Bielski, the Chicago Ghost Conference and the haunted Sunnybrook Asylum. Plus there's some talk of Bachelor's Grove, Frankie's and Resurrection Mary. Corrections: I mispoke stating that Sunnybrook was a santiarium. In reality I meant to say that I speculate that it was. However, we do know that it was home base for a utopian group called the Spirit Fruit Society. Also, the Eastland disaster took place in 1915 |

September 19, 2007 - X-Zone Radio Interview, part 2 (Hopefully/doubtfully coming soon) The radio station had a recording problem. Though everything broadcast fine, it didn't all record. |
| October 31, 2000 - WCKG's Pete McMurray "Haunted Ghost Tour" show part 1. Features host Pete McMurray, his sidekicks Pinto (very afraid) and Heather, the Archer Avenue locations and a little color commentary the whole way provided by Scott Markus. Psychic Denise Guzzardo provided a lot of insight. This clip starts at a haunted house and takes us into Archer Woods Cemetery. | |
| Halloween with "The Pete McMurray Show" Part 2, starting at Archer Woods Cemetery (where we saw a ghost light), there's a little talk about St. James Cemetery and we start our visit to Chet's Melody Lounge. The background music/sound effects are pretty annoying and some of these guys are very excitable, but it was still a very fun time. | |
| Halloween with "The Pete McMurray Show" Part 3, we finish up our visit to Chet's and have a couple of unexplainable moments happen - one is olfactory while the other is a few very strange Polaroid's. The show went on for a few more hours, but, eventhough I have that tape, it will not digitize. | |
